I studied Spanish high school (Bachillerato) in Madrid, as well as Psychology at the Complutense University. After obtaining a degree in Psychology, I won a 4-year predoctoral scholarship.

I am well read in a variety of subjects, including psychology, taijiquan, travel, fiction, etc.

Many of the professors are returning clients. Some of the articles I have translated were published in the Journal of Advanced Nursing, Nursing Research, Journal of Child and Family Studies, Journal of Family Studies, Archives of Women´s Health, International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology, Journal of Adolescent Health, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Psicothema, Psychological Reports, Gerontologist, Journal of Pain, The International Journal of Psychology, Transplantation Proceedings, The Spanish Journal of Psychology, The Journal of Learning Disabilities, Current HIV Research, The Journal of Experimental Education, Research in Higher Education, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, Research on Ageing, Cognitive Therapy and Research, Learning Disabilities Research & Practice, European Journal of Psychology of Education, Learning Disability Quarterly, Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings, Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, Pain Management Nursing, Arte, Individuo y Sociedad, Journal of Pediatric Health Care, Environment and Behavior, Economic and Industrial Democracy, AIDS Care, Anales de Psicología, Current Alzheimer Research, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Research in Developmental Disabilities, Journal of Family Violence, Revista Frontiers in Psychology, Section Quantitative Psychology, PLOS one, BioMed Research International, Assessment, Dementia, European Physical Education Review, Quality of Life Research, Personality and Individual Differences, Adicciones, and Revista de Educación, among others.

I have acted as interpreter for visiting professors at several Psychology courses, conferences, meetings, etc. (English to Spanish and Spanish to English).

Another of my main interests is taijiquan. I taught taijiquan in Madrid for more than 10 years, but have decided to go back to being a student, learning for my own pleasure. I have also acted as interpreter at several taijiquan workshops (English to Spanish and vice versa). Oh, and I love horses, and am now re-learning to ride-forty years later!
